VJ Edgcombe impresses at NBA workout
VJ Edgcombe, a 6’4″ combo guard from Bimini, recently participated in a private workout with the Philadelphia 76ers. NBA insider Jake Fischer reported that the team was so impressed by Edgcombe’s work ethic, defensive abilities, and maturity that they plan to select him with the third pick in the upcoming NBA draft.

Edgcombe averaged 15 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in his lone season at Baylor and impressed scouts with his improved jump shot and athleticism. Despite a crowded backcourt situation with Tyrese Maxey, Jared McCain, and Quentin Grimes, Edgcombe’s unselfish play and versatility have made him a top prospect.
