ANTIGUA & BARBUDA – The Antigua and Barbuda government reporting a reduction in crime against tourists to the island.

Cabinet notes that there had been a near 15% decline in crime during the first 9 months of this year, compared to 2024.

A total of 2,163 offences were recorded between January and August 2025, compared to 2,533 in 2024, a net decrease of 14.6 percent.

When it comes to crimes against tourists, police recorded 44 incidents in 2024, while so far this year, they’ve recorded 23.

The main offences were breaking, burglary, larceny, and robbery.
