NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In just a matter of weeks top artists and galleries from across the region and of course, The Bahamas, will come together for Baha Mar’s Bahamas Culinary and Arts Festival. In addition to amazing culinary experiences, the event is seeking to take art to the next level.

Whether he’s working with prints, drawing or creating sculptures. For artist, Matthew David Rahming, it’s all about creating pieces that capture his feelings toward life, people and environments.

Rahming has been an interdisciplinary artist for the better part of 10 years and shares how he uses real-life interactions and turns them into works of art.

As for the sculptural piece shown it’s titled “And sun burned all around my eyes.” Rahming breaks down how the piece came to life.

This October 27th through the 29th The Bahamas culinary and arts festival presented by Baha mar returns and with a special addition.

Fuze will bring together artists from across the region and Rahming says he’s looking forward to the gathering of the community.
