SPANISH WELLS, BAHAMAS – It’s the perfect way to see the beauty of our Family Islands while visiting Nassau. Atlantis Sapphire Services first offered luxury excursions with a Kamalame Cay day trip back in 2022. They are now offering another uniquely Bahamian experience for guests who want something extra, and recently, I got a chance to test it out.

From the luxurious Cove at Atlantis, the journey starts with a limo trip to Odyssey Airport, then a seaplane ride to Spanish Wells. The landing is a smooth glide into some of the most pristine waters in the world.

Our guide and Captain Sheldon Pinder of Exotic Excursions greeted us, and we set sail for the day. The first stop was just off the coast of Royal Island for some swings and stingrays. After feeding the stingrays and trying the swings, we visited Pig Island, greeted by 28 pigs, ducks, chickens, and Spanish Wells native Jesse. The final stop was to feed the turtles.

Our majestic seaplane touched down, and we headed back home with great memories from our day away.
