“Ladies, he’s going to be giving you some roses.”

Dressed in all white and elevated on Bar Sol’s stage, Ginuwine gave rhythm and blues lovers a memorable show during his last performance at the resort in 2024.

Atlantis Resort Special Events Assistant Director Jason Curtis reflects on that experience as the Grammy-nominated R&B artist prepares to return on October 11 for the resort’s signature R&B brunch.

“The wow of the food, the wow of the drinks, the wow of the commentary. We’re also going to have Essence Band performing as well.”

Curtis says the demand has become evident since the brunch launched during the Nassau Paradise Island Wine and Food Festival, featuring Grammy-winning artist Mýa.

In August, they hosted the second installment, headlined by Dru Hill.

“The crowd reaction to it, the response from the Bahamian people, that, you know, we never have this in the country.”

Curtis suggested this Sunday’s brunch may mark the conclusion of the 2026 series, adding that performances by Ginuwine, Essence Band and JMAC represent just a portion of the brunch’s appeal.

“Kitchen Culture’s Deja, she’s going to be featuring one of her dishes at the brunch this coming Sunday. Don’t miss it. I tell you, the experience—we’re going to elevate it piece by piece, one day at a time.”
