NASSAU, BAHAMAS – How did you bring in the new year?

For our Denielle Miller, she attended Atlantis’ premiere event, “Party Like A Royal.”

With endless drinks and a variety of food options available, she says it’s the reveal of the surprise guest performer that entices her every year.

Held on the royal deck, thousands of attendees marveled over the event’s elaborate setup.

The decor merged fantasies of an underwater playground and an EDM club experience.

Aside from the decor, what makes this event unique is the anticipation of the surprise guest performer.

Vice President of Marketing and Events Jason Spencer told me maintaining this tradition that requires this level of secrecy is challenging. Still, he and his team enjoy witnessing the effect it has on the audience.

Gracing this year’s stage was international tv host Ariana Madix, disc jockeys and producers “Two-Friends”.

Shortly after 11pm, the surprise guest was revealed, Grammy award winning producer DJ Khaled.

Immediately following Khaled’s performance, we turned our attention to the Royal Towers and counted down to midnight.

The indigo sky lit up with a firework display that was seen for miles, welcoming international guests and locals from around the island into the year 2026.

And for one couple, that moment not only signified the start of a new year but a new life together.
