NASSAU, BAHAMAS – After spending almost three years behind bars without a trial, a man accused of attempted murder has been granted bail.

Prosecutors say 31-year-old Shaquon Dean attempted to murder Ricardo Bullard on July 26th, 2023.

Bullard was sitting in front of his Pinewood Gardens home around 1:30 pm when prosecutors say Dean shot Bullard in an alleged hit.

Bullard was paralyzed as a result of the shooting.

Justice Loren Klein set bail at $15,000.

Dean is required to wear an ankle bracelet, keep a curfew while on bail.
