NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An Appeal Court has upheld the conviction and 10- year sentence of a bus driver who attempted to rape a passenger.

The convict was only identified by his initials DE in the court’s judgment.

On March 7, 2021, DE tried to force a passenger on his bus to have sex with him.

She put up a struggle and eventually jumped through the bus’s window and DE was arrested.

The Court found no merit in DE’s appeal and affirmed his conviction and sentence.
