UNITED STATES- The Los Angeles Lakers are riding a three-game win streak, fueled by the impressive play of their newest addition in the paint, Deandre Ayton.

Ayton posted 20 points and 14 rebounds in the Lakers’ 140–126 win over the Utah Jazz last night, marking his third straight double-double and helping secure the team’s third consecutive victory.

His consistency has stood out in November, where he’s averaging 19 points and nearly 8 rebounds per game, making this his most productive stretch since joining the franchise.

With LeBron James returning to the lineup, last night also marked the first time the Lakers played with their projected preseason starting five this year.

Ole Miss Remains Unbeaten, Collins Shines for FIU

Coach Yo and the Ole Miss Rebels passed their toughest test of the season so far, remaining undefeated after a gritty 73–64 overtime win over the Memphis Tigers.

Ole Miss erased a 13-point second-half deficit and powered ahead with a 15–6 overtime run, improving to 4–0 on the season. The team is currently ranked No. 13 in the AP Poll.

Another top Bahamian tennis talent is heading to NCAA Division I.

Jerald Carroll has committed to play for the Louisville Cardinals, joining head coach Rigo De Silva in the ACC.

Carroll, a standout at Winter Park High School in Florida, is a five-star recruit and one of the top-ranked players in both Florida and the Southeast region.

Internationally, he holds an ITF junior ranking of No. 281, with a career high of No. 271 and a 19–8 ITF record. He has also represented Team Bahamas at several levels.

Carroll won the JITIC Doubles Championship in 2022 and most recently played on the Junior Davis Cup team, helping them advance to the quarterfinals. He finished undefeated in singles play.
