U.S.A – Deandre Ayton put together one of the most efficient nights of his NBA career, going perfect from the field as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Toronto Raptors 110-93 to snap a recent skid.

He finished with 25 points and 13 rebounds on 10 for 10 shooting, controlling the paint at both ends of the floor while committing no turnovers in 33 minutes of action.

It marked one of the rarest stat lines in Laker franchise history, placing him in elite company among all-time great big men.

He became just the fourth player in Lakers history to post a 20-plus point, 10-plus rebound game on perfect field goal efficiency, joining legends like Wilt Chamberlain, Mitch Kupchak and Shaquille O’neal.

Ayton is also the the only player this season to record a 20-point game on perfect shooting with at least 10 field-goal attempts, and the 34th player in NBA history to do so with 10 or more rebounds.

Continuing to be one of the league’s most efficient scorers around the basket, he ranks second in the league at field goal percentage with 68.

The Lakers held Toronto to a season-low point total, and picked up a much-needed win as the sixth seed in a competitive western conference.
