NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It appears as if our neighbors to the south may be having some serious challenges with crime. One Bahamian who is living in the Turks and Caicos Islands says many residents are in fear of their lives. This, as the Ministry of National Security is partnering with TCI law enforcement in their crime fight.

Collin Ingraham, a Bahamian citizen who has been living in the Turks and Caicos Islands for several years says TCI officials have said the increase crime is gang related as over the past several weeks there has been a string of murders.

He says an example of that is a U.S citizen who recently ended up becoming a victim of an ambush shooting while visiting Providenciales.

The story was carried by several intentional media outlets as the victim, who was reportedly not the target of the shooting, was an executive of the NAACP.

Ingraham says the killing has residents on edge.
