NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In just a few days hundreds of leaders from across the world will attend the 44th Caribbean Heads of Government Meeting. The hotel hosting the larger than life delegation is Baha Mar.

Robert Sands, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, says a lot of work has gone into getting ready for the regional event.

Those security measures have been beefed up as police investigate death threats made against Prime Minister Philip Davis nearly two weeks ago, and a planned protest by the Coalition of Independents, which has been vocal about immigration issues.

Sands says they’ve taken extra steps to make sure the meetings are not only productive, but also safe.
