“Write-up, you know? All y’all get write-up for this. I’ve had a nice time. Thank you. Really awesome night.”

Even on the final day, with the Culinary Expo and Fuze Caribbean Art Fair wrapping up, people were still enjoying every minute of it.

Kristianne Rolle – Attendee

“The atmosphere. Everything was good. The art, it was perfect. The drinks was good.”

With Common, OneRepublic, the Essence Band and other big names bringing the entertainment, there was no shortage of star power.

There were also more than 75 vendors, plenty of food and drinks, and, of course, you can’t have a Bahamian celebration without some Junkanoo!

Also helping bring the festival to life were local businesses.

Lauren Sands, owner of Sandbar Coffee, says the festival gave her business some valuable exposure.

“It’s a lot of exposure. You get to meet a lot of people who haven’t heard of your business before. I think the biggest thing that I’ve heard being here the last two days is, ‘Every time I see you, I miss you.’ So I’m happy to finally come and, uh, sample and try.”

And after months of planning, Baha Mar’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Nadia Bowe, says it’s been rewarding to see everything come together.
