TAMPA, FLORIDA – The Bahamas Youth Flag Football League is competing on the world stage.

Under-9, Under-12, and Under-16 teams are representing the country at the U.S. Flag World Championships in Tampa, Florida.

The teams began competition earlier today, facing opponents from across the United States and Canada.

Organizers say the experience provides valuable exposure for young athletes and continues the league’s tradition of strong international performances.


NBA Update

VJ Edgecombe and the Philadelphia 76ers dropped their second straight home game, falling 117–115 to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Edgecombe finished with 10 points on an efficient shooting night, along with four rebounds and four assists.

Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 33 points, while Jaylon Tyson powered Cleveland with 39 points and the game-winning assist in the final seconds.

The Sixers have now lost three of their last four games but will look to rebound when they face the Indiana Pacers on Monday.
