NASSAU, BAHAMAS – This is the holiday season and thousands of people are traveling across the country. Managing Director of Bahamasair Tracy Cooper says the airline has seen an uptick in passengers but it does not come without some challenges.

The Bahamasair Managing Director says he’s aware that there is some concern surrounding whether or not Bahamasair was able to transport baggage to Nassau.

Reports reaching our newsroom say there were several delays this week as passengers traveled for the holidays.

Cooper says that due to the peak season there were several factors that contributed to those delays.

And, he says on Monday and Tuesday there were some mechanical issues that added to those delays.
