NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Lavado Stubbs also known as Conch Boy Films is a popular name in the country.

Recently Lavado left his footprint on the international market by directing two episodes of Bounce’s original TV show “Johnson”, where one of the show’s executive producers is Cedric the Entertainer.

Lavado explains the opportunity caught him by surprise but not off guard.

In the episodes the show’s main characters take a trip to The Bahamas.

The show’s creator and producers wanted the authenticity of Bahamian culture at the forefront so they gave Lavado control to make the vision a reality.

As an advocate for the film industry here in The Bahamas, he says it was important to not only highlight our sun, sand and sea but also the incredible talent we have.

That’s why local talent was contracted for various areas including some familiar faces on screen.

Johnson airs on Saturday nights at 8pm on Bounce TV, REV Channel 367.
