NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Ahead of the Covent Garden Ballet performance showing at Old Fort Bay Club this week about 50 advanced dancers from over 13 dance schools in New Providence got a special invitation to attend a dress rehearsal.

In collaboration with the Shirley Hall Bass Legacy Project, organizers have described the exposure as priceless.

The students also got to meet the international dancers who were excited to share their experience with the aspiring students.

Mackenzie Brown and Xander Parish were both among the world-class dancers brought by the covent dance company for the performance at the Old Fort Bay Club this week.

Opening night fell on Valentine’s night, but there was a select audience who had the privilege of witnessing the show before anyone else.

Two students from the local W2 Dance Club shared the profound impact of the experience.

At the end of rehearsal, Bahamian dance students, along with their teachers and officials from the Shirley Hall Bass Legacy Project, had the opportunity to take photos and valuable advice from some of the pros.
