Hield, Thompson and Ayton Show Out on Tuesday Night

Bahamian NBA players Buddy Hield, Klay Thompson and Deandre Ayton all balled out on Tuesday night.

Buddy Hield helped the Indiana Pacers coast to a 129-114 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Hield led the Pacers with 28 points on 11 of 16 shooting to go with 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Buddy lit it up from the outside, going 6-7 from 3.

Tyrese Halliburton contributed 23 points and 7 assists. Ben Mathurin had 18 off the bench. Trey Young had 22 and 10 assists for the Hawks.

Klay Thompson put the Golden State Warriors on his back in a 110-105 win against the Charlotte Hornets. Thompson scored 29 points, pulled down 5 rebounds and dished out 4 assists in the victory making 5 of 12 three point attempts along the way.

Jordan Poole added 24 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists and Johnathan Kuminga had 14 off the Bench.

Lamelo Ball led the Hornets in scoring with 21 points. He also grabbed 9 rebounds. Bahamian Kai Jones of the Hornets caught a DNP in this game. After seemingly cracking the rotation in November and early December, it looks like he’s in coach Steve Clifford’s dog house.

Deandre Ayton continues to hold down the middle for his Phoenix Suns. The center had a workmanlike night, scoring 15 points, grabbing 10 boards and blocking a shot as the Suns beat the Grizzlies 125-108.
