NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Deandre Ayton struggled offensively, scoring just four points in 20 minutes, but pulled down 10 rebounds in the Lakers’ 129–101 win over Golden State.

On his birthday, Luka Dončić led the way with 26 points and eight assists, while LeBron James added 22 points, seven rebounds and nine assists.

In college basketball, Deyton Albury scored three points as New Mexico edged San Diego State 81–76, moving into second place in the conference standings.

Meanwhile, Team Bahamas is competing against Puerto Rico in the FIBA World Cup qualifiers in San Juan. The team defeated Jamaica 99–96 on Thursday and continues its quest for a World Cup berth.
