U.S.A. – A couple of Bahamians did their thing in the NBA Monday night.

Sharpshooter Eric Gordon came off the bench for his Phoenix Suns to score 12 points, 3 rebounds and a steal in only 20 minutes as they beat up the struggling Portland Trailblazers 101-81.

The Blazers were playing without Bahamian, starting center Deandre Ayton, who missed his fourth straight game with tendinitis in his right knee

Buddy Hield and the Indiana Pacers also played, beating the Milwaukee Bucks 122-113.

Hield came off the bench for 21 minutes, going scoreless in the win.

Both teams are off Tuesday but Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors will play the Orlando Magic.

The Wisconsin Badgers, led by AJ Storr are back in the Associated Press rankings.

They came into the season unranked and things stayed that way after some back-to-back early losses to Providence and Tennessee.

The team proceeded to win 9 of their next 10 games since then, including beating the number 3 team in the country, their in-state rival Marquette University, their one loss coming at the hands of number 1 Arizona. For their dramatic turnaround, they were rewarded with a 21 ranking.

Storr has emerged as their best scorer in this span, leading the squad, averaging 15 per game along with 2.8 rebounds including a 29-point outburst in their last matchup against Chicago State.
