NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is facing an arson charge after he allegedly torched a car on Halloween.

Prosecutors say 25-year-old Aerion Collie set fire to Stevania Smith’s 2012 Mazda Verisa on October 31.

Collie didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before Assistant Chief Magistrate Kara Turnquest-Deveaux.

He was denied bail and he returns to court on January 21, 2026 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
