Barbados AG Wants Probe Into T&T Kidnapping Claims

BARBADOS – Barbados Attorney General Dale Marshall has called on police commissioner to investigate a statement by a Trinidad and Tobago judge that a national from the twin island republic had been abducted by law enforcement authorities and forcibly returned to Port of Spain earlier this year.

Trinidad and Tobago National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds has since confirmed that an appeal will be launched.

Meanwhile, the Police Complaints Authority in Port of Spain said it has opened an investigation into the findings made by the judge.
