BPW Bahamas Installs New Executive Team at Ceremony Headlined by Dr. Anthony Hamilton

FREEPORT, BAHAMAS – Business and Professional Women (BPW) Bahamas proudly hosted its Executives and Membership Installation Ceremony on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Pelican Bay Hotel, Freeport, Grand Bahama.

BPW Bahamas, an affiliate of BPW International (International Federation of Business and Professional Women), is part of an influential global network of business and professional women from more than 100 countries across five continents, with Consultative Status at ECOSOC/United Nations. Founded in 1930, BPW International has long focused on developing the professional, leadership, and business potential of women at all levels through mentoring, networking, skill-building, and economic empowerment programs and projects worldwide. BPW Bahamas has proudly represented this mission locally, creating opportunities for women across the archipelago.

The distinguished Dr. Anthony Hamilton, President of Civil Society Bahamas, served as the Guest Speaker for the evening. Dr. Hamilton is widely respected for his leadership and advocacy in civil society, governance, and national development.

This year’s theme, “Inspire, Innovate, Empower, Transform: Together We Shape a Sustainable Future,” reflected BPW’s unwavering commitment to uplifting women through leadership, professional development, and sustainable action in alignment with global goals.

During the event, BPW Bahamas formally installed its newly appointed Executive Board members: Dr. Sandy Bowleg – Parliamentarian, Brittlee Edwards – Director of Wellness, Rudell Fowler – Vice President of Membership.

These dynamic leaders bring a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to advancing the mission of BPW Bahamas and the broader vision of BPW International.
