Hield’s Hot Shooting Helps Indiana Defeat Miami

MIAMI, USA – Buddy Hield helped his Indiana Pacers secure a win in South Beach against the Miami Heat 111-108. Buddy scored 21 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 2 assists while repping for The Bahamas in the closest NBA city to his hometown of Freeport, Grand Bahama.

All of Buddy’s points came from three as he went 7-15 from the field. 11 of his 15 attempts were three point shots.

Tyrese Halliburton, continuing his breakout season, scored a season-high 43 points on 10 3s, also a season-high. He added 5 assists and 5 rebounds. He delivered the coup-de-grace to the Heat, hitting a three with 4.2 seconds left in the game to give the Pacers the win.

Guard Tyler Herro led the Heat in scoring with 28, Jimmy Butler added 20 while Bam Adebayo added 18, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. 

The Pacers’ next game is on Boxing Day at 8 pm when they play the New Orleans Pelicans.
