Indiana Overcomes A 21 Point Deficit To Beat Chicago

INDIANAPOLIS, USA – Most nights a 21-point lead is insurmountable, but the Pacers really didn’t care, as they spent the entire game scratching and clawing their way to a victory against the Chicago Bulls after falling behind that amount in the 2nd quarter.

Grand Bahama’s Buddy Hield played a major role in the comeback victory, scoring 19 points.

Two of those came on a clutch layup with 5:48 left in the game to bring the game within 4. He added 5 rebounds and four assists and made 4 of his 11 3-point attempts.

Indiana center Myles Turner and wing Ben Mathurin had 26 points and 7 rebounds apiece while backup point guard TJ McConnell, starting in place for the injured Tyrese Haliburton, had 20 points and 10 assists. Demar Derozan had 33 and 7 for the Bulls.

The Pacers are in the sunshine to take on the Orlando Magic tonight.
