NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With questions still up in the air about how the “Irregularities” of foreign workers at the British Colonial Hilton were handled, Free National Movement Leader, Michael Pintard, says they’ve been calling for a select committee on immigration, even before they heard of the alleged events that took place in January.

The idea was to gather Bahamians with what Pintard describes as an impeccable reputation, to work alongside policymakers to investigate a series of immigration issues.

However, it’s unlikely the public will see this group formed any time soon.

Pintard says it was strongly voted against.
