NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas will host the CARIFTA Games next year, the ninth time the country will serve as host.

On Thursday, the CARIFTA Games was officially launched as part of several official activities connected to the country’s 50th Independence Anniversary. This will also be the 50th anniversary of the games as well.

Bahamas Amateur and Athletic Association President Drumeco Archer said this will be the best CARIFTA Games ever and will definitely be an event that is oversubscribed.
