NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In a surprising turn of events, the prosecution has dropped all charges against one of the defendants in the Adrian Gibson trial.

Gibson’s cousin, Rashae Gibson, who previously faced conspiracy to commit bribery, bribery, conspiracy to commit fraud by false pretenses, fraud by false pretenses, and money laundering charges, has been granted full immunity from prosecution in exchange for her testimony.

Gibson, Elwood Donaldson Jr, Jerome Missick, Peaches Farquharson and Joann Knowles remain on trial before Senior Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson.

The trial concerns the awarding of contracts while Gibson served as the executive chairman of the Water and Sewerage Corporation.
