Ole Miss Beats Texas A&M 77-60

GREENVILLE, SC, USA. It was smooth sailing for Grand Bahama’s Yolette “Coach Yo” McPhee McCuin and her University of Mississippi Rebels women’s basketball team as they made easy work of the Texas A&M Aggies beating them 77-66.

Senior guard Angel Baker led the Rebels in scoring, going off for 23 points and 5 rebounds.

Madison Scott added 16 points and 8 rebounds, Marquesha Davis scored 14 and dished out 3 assists and Elauna Eaton added 11 off the bench.

Ole Miss’s next matchup won’t be as easy as they take on the University of South Carolina, the number 1 team in women’s college basketball on Saturday at 4:30 pm.

The last time the two teams played, Ole Miss gave the undefeated Carolina squad everything they could handle, forcing them to overtime, before falling 64-57. A win here would be historic for Ole Miss and their Bahamian coach and would guarantee them a spot in the NCAA tournament.
