NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin is born and raised in Grand Bahama. She’s the head coach for Ole Miss Women’s Basketball in town for this weekend’s Battle4Atlantis speaking to us exclusively about winning on home soil.

And she spoke to us about the season thus far where her team is 2-1.

Ole Miss is set to take on Howard University tomorrow beginning at noon Saturday in the Imperial Arena at Atlantis.

Dawn Knowles Primary School Soccer Tournament

The finals of the tournament was played earlier this week at the Roscow A. Davies soccer field.

In the u-10 division, Cleveland Eneas Primary School took the girls’ title, winning a 1-0 thriller over Sadie Curtis thanks to a goal from Katie Folwer while Eva Hilton took the boys title over Sybil Strachan with both goals coming from Antonio Hernandez.

In u-12s Eva Hilton’s girls beat E.P. Roberts 2-1 while Sybil Strachan beat Garvin Tynes 3-2 to to take the boys’ crown.
