NASSAU, BAHAMAS – University of Mississippi’s head women’s basketball coach is fresh off one of her team’s best seasons in the program’s history.

She’s leaving the ‘Sip to come back home to the island.

Coach Yolette McPhee McCuin is returning to her native Grand Bahama to host a basketball camp.

The rebels head coach announced via her social media that the camp will be held on August 13th at the Basil Neymour Court at Coral Gardens.

The camp is open to children from grades kindergarten to grade 6. It is free but space is limited.

To sign up, check out Coach Yo’s social media pages.

Coach Yo has had an extremely busy year but she’s always going to find time to go home and give back.

Moving on to baseball, Jazz Chisholm is making good progress from his injury.

The Marlins centerfielder hit a home run on Wednesday and he followed that up with a couple of hits last night.

Jazz Chisholm seems to be finding his swing off an oblique injury.

He hit a clutch home run in the 10th inning of Wednesday night’s marathon 12-inning victory against the Philadelphia Phillies.

He followed that up with a 2-4 day against the Phils yesterday in a 4-2 loss where he hit a single and a double and drove in one run.

They’re in the metroplex tonight to take on the Texas Rangers.
