UNITED STATES – Notorious Colombian Cocaine Trafficker Dario Antonio Usuaga known as Otoniel has pleaded guilty to charges in a US court. 

Otoniel was the leader of Colombia’s most powerful criminal gang for more than nine years. 

He was arrested in Colombia in 2021 and extracted to the U.S last year he now faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years and up to life. 

One of the prosecutors called him one of the most significant Colombian narcotics traffickers since Pablo Escobar.
