NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Crystal Darling-Sargent is a conservationist driven by a passion for protecting the environment and inspiring the next generation to do the same.

She recently completed the Community Leadership Institute and practicum portions of the 2025 Community Solutions Program Fellowship, an international initiative supporting emerging leaders.

Darling-Sargent was selected as one of just 65 fellows from more than 12,000 applicants worldwide, focusing her work on energy and environmental sustainability.

As part of the fellowship, she also participated in an in-person international exchange, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to global environmental initiatives.

She is now advancing her Community Action Plan, which aims to strengthen environmental education and protect The Bahamas’ natural heritage.

Darling-Sargent says conservation is deeply personal to her, and she remains committed to safeguarding the environment for future generations.
