NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An appeal court has upheld the conviction for Mark McKenzie for the murder of Leslie Greene in 2017.

McKenzie is serving a 40-year sentence after being convicted by a Supreme Court jury of the crime in 2022.

Prosecutors alleged that an eyewitness saw when McKenzie and another man entered the murdered man’s yard at Yellow Elder Gardens on February 12, 2017.

The witness said he was uneasy and went to the back of the yard in hopes of having his relatives ask McKenzie and his associate to leave.

But before he could to this, the witness alleged he heard gunshots.

When the witness ran towards the front of the yard, he allegedly saw McKenzie holding a gun in his hand.
