NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Heading into the new year, the police commissioner is committing to beefing up crime-fighting measures.

While admitting that 2022 was a record year for murders, he’s also boasting of a more than 60 percent solvency rate.

The police commissioner making this commitment at the 2022 Boxing Day Junkanoo parade.

As the year closes out, The Bahamas recorded 125 murders for 2022.
