NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The countdown is on to the highly anticipated American Thanksgiving Day. While our North American neighbors celebrate, many Bahamians are just as eager, looking forward to the trimmings of the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

For restaurants and home-based chefs, Thanksgiving Day is a busy time, with requests for traditional meals.

Prestina and Lemero Wright have been preparing and selling Thanksgiving dinners for the past six years.

Unfortunately, those increasing requests haven’t turned into increasing profits, and rising food prices leave little room for profit.
