CUBA – Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel has voiced strong backing for Chinese President Xi Jinping’s global governance initiative, calling it a trustworthy framework for improving global order.
CUBA – Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel has voiced strong backing for Chinese President Xi Jinping’s global governance initiative, calling it a trustworthy framework for improving global order.
Xi proposed the global governance initiative on September 1 while chairing the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization Plus” meeting in North China.
The event marked the largest summit in the SCO’s 24-year history. It was attended by leaders from over 20 countries and 10 international organizations.
The GGI is Xi’s fourth major international initiative. It advocates for a more just and equitable global governance mode.
