Customs Celebrates 109th Anniversary
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The country’s major revenue collector, The Bahamas Customs Department is celebrating 109 years of service this month.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The country’s major revenue collector, The Bahamas Customs Department is celebrating 109 years of service this month.
Assistant Comptroller Cloretta Gomez says the month will be filled with activities to commemorate their hard work within the department.
While she admits there has been some growing pains over the years, Gomez says their efforts in revenue collection have been recognized and the aim this year is to surpass that.
