NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man convicted of molesting his daughter has lost his bid to overturn his incest conviction and 27-year sentence.

The man, identified only as OG, appeared in the Court of Appeal to challenge the verdict and penalty.

According to the evidence presented at trial, which was accepted by the jury, the man began molesting his 13-year-old daughter soon after her mother, his wife, died in 2013.

He molested his daughter for seven years before the matter was reported to the police.
