NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A chastising by Dame Marguerite Pindling on Majority Rule Day went viral as the former Governor General and wife of the late Sir Lynden Pindling, expressed disappointment in Tuesday’s celebrations and demanded an apology from the chairman of the Progressive Liberal Party Senator Fred Mitchell.

In her rebuke, Dame Marguerite expressed disappointment that she felt the focus of Majority Rule Day shifted from her late husband Sir Lynden Pindling, to politics. 

When asked if he would apologize, Mitchell, told media at the celebrations, that while Dame Marguerite has her views, he has nothing to say on the matter.
