Davis Sworn In As PM In Private Ceremony
Philip Davis was sworn in as the country’s fifth Prime Minister during a private ceremony this afternoon at the office of the Governor General at one Montague Place.
Philip Davis was sworn in as the country’s fifth Prime Minister during a private ceremony this afternoon at the office of the Governor General at one Montague Place.
The media learned of the swearing-in after the fact. Davis arrived on New Providence this morning, after celebrating the Progressive Liberal Party’s decisive win on Cat Island last night.
Thanking the Bahamian people for ushering in a new day, Davis says he’s anxious to get to work.
