NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Day 3 of the Samuel P. Haven National Soccer Championships wrapped up yesterday at the Roscow A. Davies field.

In the senior girls division, Lyford Cay International school beat Anatol Rodgers high 5-0, CR Walker beat St. Augustine’s College 3-0, and Queen’s College squealed by RM Bailey 1-0.

The girls and boys’ finals and semifinals are set for Friday.

The Bahamas National Beach Volleyball team consisting primarily of Jon Isaacs and Eugene Stewart recently competed at the latest stop on the NORCECA tour in Cayman.

The Bahamian squad was in the same pool as with the USA, Bermuda, the US Virgin Islands, and El Salvador, finishing the tournament in 17th place overall.
