Airborne rescue teams have been searching nonstop for survivors amid washed-out roads and overflowing rivers.

President Trump who declared Kerr County a major disaster zone, says he plans to visit Friday to meet first responders and assess damage.

Local officials warn that recovery could take weeks as communities reel from the unprecedented deluge.
