NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Deltec Bank announced that they are partnering with The Bahamas National Sailing School to sponsor lessons for ten sailors, amounting to $30,000, purchase new boats and sponsor the Spring Sailing Championship in 2024, which will serve as a qualifier for international race teams.

President of The Bahamas Sailing Association Laurie Lowe is elated about the access to the sport that this sponsorship will help to provide.

Daalen Adderley announced a couple of weeks ago that he left Texas Southern’s baseball team after a historic season in which he was one of the nation’s leaders in batting average and won Conference Player of the Year, Hitter of the Year and All-American honors.

He announced earlier this week that he will transfer to Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles to play his senior year.

Adderley will play in the West Coast Conference, a highly competitive league made up of private schools in California, Oregon and Washington State.
