UNITED STATES, BAHAMAS – From the NBA sidelines to the WNBA bench, Bahamas men’s national basketball team head coach Chris DeMarco’s journey has come full circle.

DeMarco coached his final game as a member of the Golden State Warriors staff last weekend, closing that chapter with a 120–107 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

The Warriors honored him with the game ball in recognition of his impact and contributions to the organization.

That moment came in the very arena where DeMarco will soon begin his next chapter as head coach of the New York Liberty in the WNBA.

His transition also strengthens his Bahamian ties, as he’ll have the opportunity to coach Jonquel Jones while leading a Liberty squad with championship expectations.
