NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Don’t Blink brand has expanded its reach to women’s softball with a new initiative, hosting several pro franchises on Bahamian shores. The inaugural Queens of Paradise Women’s Professional Softball Series will take place from June 19-21 at the Andre Rodgers National Baseball Stadium.

The three-day event will feature a three-game series between the Atlanta Smoke and the Orlando Monarchs of the Women’s Professional Fast Pitch Softball League.

Brandon Phillips – Owner, Atlanta Smoke
“When it comes to what we’re doing, and the vision that I really had is about doing something epic and just giving back. So, I talked to these cats right here on the side, and I said, we gotta do something that’s epic, something that we can do to change the game. And they was like, hey, why don’t you bring softball to the Bahamas? And I was like, you know what? That might be a good idea.”

Games will be hosted at 7 p.m. each night, and there will also be a free youth softball clinic on Friday, June 20. Event organizers say the series aims to provide the same exposure and opportunities for young women as the Home Run Derby has done for young men.

Lucius Fox – Co-Founder, Don’t Blink Entertainment
“But we want to pour into the future generation. You know, the kids that are coming up, the young ladies that are coming up, that don’t feel like there’s hope. There is hope. And Don’t Blink, anything is possible. But first, with God, of course.”

Tickets are priced at $10 for adults, and children 12 and under will be free.
