DPM: Grand Lucayan Still “Egregiously Bad” Deal

Following a meeting with the board of Lucayan Renewal Holdings Limited, today, Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper says he still feels the Grand Lucayan resort deal was “egregiously bad.”

In fact, he says the amount he feared the former government spent was not far off. Cooper says government will follow the law and pursue the agreement in the best interest of the Bahamian people.
