DPM Hopeful For Regional Travel Talks At CARICOM

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Minister of Tourism Aviation and Investment Chester Cooper says he’s hoping for sideline conversations on tourism-related issues at CARICOM.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With the start of the CARICOM Heads of Government meeting just a day away, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Aviation and Investment Chester Cooper says he’s hoping for sideline conversations on tourism-related issues.

Cooper says Caribbean countries have requested Bahamasair start services to their countries.
Cooper says the prime minister, who chairs CARICOM, and other members have had those discussions.

He adds that there is significant interest in traveling to the country, adding that it will boost the country’s economy.
