Drug Bust On Abaco And Grand Bahama

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A team of officers searched a business in Abaco and a large amount of crocus sacks with suspected marijuana and suspected cocaine were found.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – According to police, shortly after 12:00 pm Friday, a team of officers searched a business on Sherlin Bootle Highway In Marsh Harbour, Abaco.

Three adult males and three adult females, Haitian and Bahamian nationals, were on the premises of that business.

While officers checked several derelict vehicles at the rear of the property including a white caravan, a large amount of crocus sacks with suspected marijuana along with a quantity of suspected cocaine were found.

A high-powered rifle, two pistols along with some ammunition were also found in that vehicle.

Those illegal drugs were flown to New Providence from abaco. Our news team was on the ground at Odyssey Aviation as a helicopter and airplane filled with the drugs landed and were unloaded into a truck.
