East GB MP Pushes Back on Procurement Bill Amendments

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Member of Parliament for East Grand Bahama Kwasi Thompson slammed the Davis administration for amendments to the new Procurement Bill. 

The changes include limiting direct contracts to under $100,000 dollars in emergency situations and also the removal of the tenure clause for procurement officers which prohibited them from serving more than 10 years.
